Quite simply, Northern tool employees had no outdoor space for dinner and team-building exercises. The owners decided to change that and called Southview Design. What had been an ugly, cracked aggregate concrete patio with a couple of benches was transformed into a beautiful outdoor space and entry.
The side entrance was open to the elements. Part of Southview’s design included a canopy over the entry. After some engineering, the canopy was installed as designed. The Northern Tool logo detail in the pavers turned out perfect. Fresh plant material and new tables/benches with colorful umbrellas add to the ambiance. The entire project, from demo to done, took one and a half months.
